Minister Charged In Internet Sex Crimes Case

North Carolina: An Edenton children minister has been charged with internet sex crimes involving children.

Jonathan Rose was arrested Monday by the S.B.I. and the North Carolina Internet Crimes against Children Task Force. Cumberland County deputies say the 35-year-old Rose engaged in illegal conversations with children via his computer.

Cumberland County deputies say Rose is a minister at Rocky Hock Baptist Church in Edenton. He's been charged with solicitation of child by computer to commit unlawful sex acts and is being held on a $50,000 bond.
