Pastor Found Guilty Of Raping His Daughter

Fiji: A church pastor who was found guilty by the High Court in Suva for raping his daughter, who was nine years old, has been jailed for 15 years.

Justice Salesi Temo told the 42-year-old man he had not only breached parental trust but had ruined his daughter's world.

He said the father had total disregard to his daughter's right to live a happy and peaceful life, not only as a child but also when she grows into an adult.

Youth Pastor Stabs Himself In The Neck

Florida: A former youth pastor couldn’t stay away from a teen-age girl he was accused of sexually assaulting, then stabbed himself as deputies closed in as he violated a protective order.

Paul A. Lisowski, 27, was charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation for fondling a girl between the ages of 12 and 15 who was a member of his youth group at Christ Community Church. The two became sexually involved at the house where his wife and young child lived.

As deputies moved in to make the arrest on May 26, Lisowski stabbed himself in the neck and was hospitalized until being released to jail on Friday.

Child Molester Priest To Get $94K In Annuity Payments

Ireland: Oliver O'Grady has been called the Hannibal Lecter of pedophile Catholic priests. He's been gone from the Diocese of Stockton, Calif., for 17 years, but the civil lawsuits keep coming - 22 to date, resulting in $18.7 million paid to victims.

And Saturday, when O'Grady turns 65 in his native Ireland, an annuity purchased by the diocese seven years ago will pay him about $788 a month for 10 years, totaling $94,560.

O'Grady has admitted abusing many children of various ages, boys and girls, and said he even slept with two mothers to get access to their children. He was convicted of child sexual abuse in 1993 and spent seven years in prison.

Pastor Arrested For Car Theft And Meth Possession

Illinois: Lawrenceville police arrested 34-year-old Christian J. Johnson on charges of unlawful possession of meth and a stolen vehicle. His wife, 31-year-old Sabrina M. Johnson, was also arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle.

Church Remained Silent About Child Porn

Denmark: Despite being convicted of possessing child pornography in 2005, the Catholic Church allowed a priest to continue carrying out his duties including teaching children and young people.

In this latest scandal to rock the Danish Catholic Church, it was announced that the priest had recently been suspended, but the church did not mention the reason. The priest was convicted of paying for and downloading 38 movies involving minors.

Bishop Czeslaw Kozlon, who is head of the Catholic Church in Denmark, did not inform the chair of the parish council in question why the priest had been relieved of his duties. The council chair was said to have been shocked when informed by a journalist from the newspaper Politiken about the cause of the priest’s suspension.

Youth Bible Teacher Arrested

New York: A youth Bible studies teacher and former Scoutmaster in Wayne County has been accused of having sexual contact with a 5-year-old girl.

New York State Police last night charged Samuel W. Langley, 72, with second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, a felony.

Langley was a Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America for about 40 years, He also teaches Bible studies to youths at the Baptist Bible Church in Sodus, Wayne County.

LDS Seminary Principal Pleads Guilty To Sex Abuse

Utah: Former LDS seminary principal Michael Pratt pleaded guilty to sex abuse of student Tuesday morning.

Pratt, 37, was arrested in July 2009 after a then 16-year-old girl was confronted about her relationship with him by police. She later testified the two had sexual encounters on several occasions in May and June.

Pratt was fired by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a principal and instructor when the allegations became public. He taught at the LDS seminary in Highland.
